Michelle is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist whose special interests include pain management, healthy aging, sports medicine, and cosmetic acupuncture. She holds a master’s degree from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and graduated with honors from Brown University. She speaks Mandarin and Spanish.

Michelle’s acupuncture education includes rotations at Shanghai Yueyang Hospital and California Pacific Medical Center. She is certified in integrative cancer care through Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, and has presented to a number of Cancer Support Community groups. At the California Pacific Medical Center and Shanghai Yueyang Hospital, she treated traumatic brain injury, stroke sequelae, and various neurological conditions. Other rotations focused on gynecology, orthopedics, and integrative weight-loss. As a clinical volunteer at Venice Family Clinic, Michelle established its community acupuncture program.
